Introduction

If you notice discrepancies or missing earnings in your dashboard, it is typically due to the necessary time required for third-party demand partners to report their data. Ezoic processes data continuously as it is received from hundreds of different sources. This article outlines the reporting flow and identifies specific scenarios, such as AdSense Mediation, that may result in longer reporting windows.

Overview

Ezoic’s reporting involves aggregating complex financial data from a vast array of global advertising partners. Unlike simple traffic trackers, this financial data is processed as it arrives rather than in a single daily batch.

  • Continuous Processing: Ezoic processes data in real-time as it is received. You may see shifts in your stats throughout the day as more partners report their metrics.

  • Finalization Target: While data flows in constantly, estimated earnings for a given day are generally finalized by 12:00 PM (noon) PT the following day.

  • AdSense Mediation Delay: If your site earns a significant portion of its revenue via AdSense Mediation, please note that this data is delayed by a full day. Due to the frequency with which AdSense sends data to Ezoic, these stats will take a full extra day to update in your dashboard.

  • Notifications: If third-party data is delayed beyond these standard windows, Ezoic will provide a notification directly within your dashboard.

Tips and Best Practices

Account for AdSense Latency:

If you are a heavy user of AdSense mediation, adjust your reporting expectations. Your Monday revenue may not reflect the AdSense portion until Wednesday morning.

Analyze Trends Post-Midday:

For the most accurate daily analysis of standard demand, perform your deep-dive reviews after 12:00 PM PT.

Monitor Dashboard Alerts:

Check the top of your dashboard for any service alerts. If a major demand partner is experiencing a widespread reporting delay, it will be highlighted there.

Patience with Finalization:

Revenue reported in the dashboard remains "Estimated" until the final reconciliation with ad networks, which occurs on a net 30-day basis. Small adjustments during this period are standard industry practice for factors like invalid traffic.
