To maintain a high-quality ecosystem for both publishers and advertisers, Ezoic’s Platform Quality team evaluates every site against specific criteria. This article outlines our requirements regarding site traffic, Google policy compliance, and content standards to help you prepare your site for a successful approval.

Site Size and Traffic

To join Ezoic, sites are generally required to have 250,000+ monthly active users.

• The Incubator Program: If your site does not yet meet this traffic threshold, you may still be eligible to join via our Incubator Program, designed to help growing sites scale.

• Verification: You can verify your traffic levels by connecting your Google Analytics account during the Ezoic application process.

Grandfathered Status (Pre-February 19, 2026): Publishers monetizing with Ezoic prior to February 19, 2026, are grandfathered into the platform regardless of their current site size, provided they maintain continuous use of Ezoic.

• The 7-Day Rule: If a grandfathered site (with under 250k users) removes Ezoic integration for more than 7 days, the grandfathered status is void. To return, the site must then meet the 250,000+ user requirement or apply via the Incubator.

• New Sites: Any new sites added to an existing account after February 19, 2026, must meet the 250k traffic requirement or use the Incubator program.

Google Policy Compliance

All sites must comply with Google's policies. This includes but is not limited to:

• No invalid clicks / impressions
• Not falsely encouraging clicks
• Not offering copyrighted material / downloads
• Not offering counterfeit goods
• The site should have reliable traffic sources 
• Sites shouldn't redirect users to undesirable pages / sites / pop-ups or pop-unders
• Gambling content
• Not using automatically generated content
• Not creating empty pages with no original content
• Not using content that is copied from other webpages
• Not keyword stuffing 
• Not using adult / dangerous / derogatory content
• Not offering alcohol / tobacco / healthcare related content 
• Not using aggressive / threatening content
• Not using illegal content

Site Content

As a Google Certified Publishing Partner, Ezoic requires that sites using our tools comply with AdSense policies, though AdSense approval isn't necessary to use Ezoic for the vast majority of sites.
